One of the biggest yachts in the world “Le Grand Bleu” has sailed into Dubrovnik on Monday before heading towards the island of Korčula…
Built in Germany and launched in 2000, Le Grand Bleu is one of the largest private yachts in the world at 113 m (371 ft) in length. The yacht’s former owners include American businessman John McCaw, Jr, who then sold it to Russian businessman and Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich in 2002. Abramovich had the yacht refitted to his own preferences. Abramovich gave Le Grand Bleu to current owner, friend and business partner Eugene Shvidler.
Le Grand Bleu is powered by two 4,570 bhp Deutz engines.
