VIDEO: Young Croatian musicians pay tribute to Oliver Dragojevic in Vela Luka

VELA LUKA, 31 July 2020 – Last night, young Croatian musicians paid tribute to the late Oliver Dragojevic with the concert ‘Evo mene među moje’ in his hometown of Vela Luka.
One night after their elder and more experienced peers performed a concert in Oliver’s honour, 16 young and promising male and female singers, most of whom spawned from the popular A-side and The Voice TV shows, took to the stage.
The singers performed some of Oliver’s classics from his career which spanned over four decades.
Mia Dimšić, Vinko Ćemeraš, Albina Grčić, Marko Kutlić, Matija Cvek, Uršula Najev, Dino Jelusić, Iva Ajduković, Antonela Đinđić, Jure Brkljača, Sabrina Hebiri, Petra Oreč, Dino Perić, Alen Đuras, Josip Palameta and Petra Roško opened the concert with a group version of “Dobar dan“.
After that, they performed hits like “Dobro jutro tugo“, “Pismo moja“, “Što to bješe ljubav“, “Što učinila si ti“, “Nisam te zaslužio“, “Vridilo je“, “Gdje to piše?“, “Tko sam ja da ti sudim“, “Ljubav je tvoja kao vino“, “Cesarica“, “Moj lipi anđele“ and “Trag u beskraju“.
There were some special moments last night, such as Uršula Najev’s interpretation of the song “Ništa nova” which got a huge round of applause, Sabrina Hebiri’s tear-jerking performance of “Ključ života“, Mia Dimšić’s performance of the song “Oprosti mi pape”, and the rendition of “Nocturne” by the current winner of The Voice, Vinko Ćemeraš.
The evening ended with a joint performance of “Cesarica”, “Moj lipi anđele” “Vjeruj u ljubav” and “Galeb i ja”.
At the end of the night, the Mayor of Vela Luka, Katarina Gugić, thanked all those present and all who followed how Vela Luka paid tribute to the great Oliver.
The week of remembrance of Oliver in Vela Luka ends on Friday, July 31, with an evening of jazz and a concert by Ines Tričković and the band.
