A short video which takes viewers on a quick journey through Zagreb, where vineyards are only minutes away, has made the finals in an international video contest organised by the world’s most widely circulated wine magazine, Wine Spectator.
The author and star of the Croatian entry – Winetasting Path Home – is Martina Miličević, founder and owner of the wine marketing agency Sekunde Digital and WSET Level3 sommelier.
“Where in the world has our love for wine taken us? This year’s video contest finalists demonstrated their wine wanderlust in a variety of compelling new videos,” Wine Spectator writes.
Martina’s minute-and-a-half video contextualises Zagreb as a wine city, with the important message that it is a city that is crazy about wines and surrounded by vineyards, facts that are rarely mentioned in conventional tourist promotion of the city.
“The idea was to show through the short and true story that the best thing about wine lovers is all that you everything you get to know comes through interest in wine. You often don’t have to look much further than where you live, Croatia is diverse and no matter where you are, you are just an hour away from the wine experience, nature, people and tradition,”explains Martina Miličević, Kult Plave Kamenice wrote.
The winners of the contest will be decided by a public vote. Voting can be done on the following link here. Below is the Martina’s entry.
