Croatia’s representative in the European Parliament Tonino Picula says that change is on its way when it comes to Croatian citizens needs a visa to travel to the United States of America.
“Negotiations are underway for the introduction of reciprocity in the EU visa regime with other nations, but it is difficult to predict when things really could change,” said Picula about the possibility of visas being waived for Croatians wanting to travel to America.
“Reciprocity is the basis of the EU visa policy with other countries, explained Picula, recalling that the European Parliament voted in mid-September on changes of European regulations on visas, with some MEPs insisting on the principle of reciprocity in relation non-member countries,” said Picula.
