Dubrovnik is a must-see for those who love culture, history and also food. If you are looking for an unforgettable meal, in equally exquisite surroundings, then Amfora should be on your list.
This restaurant glides into the stunning and elegant interior with a mix of classic and modern, along with the beautiful paintings and photo art on the wall, located near the popular Green Market in Gruž. With a friendly atmosphere, warm welcoming and delicious food, Amfora will definitely win your heart.
If you are looking for something different to start with then check out the Kataifi King Prawns, which come in a kind of shredded filo pastry, with guacamole and mango coulis.
The pastry crisped up nicely and became crunchy. The prawns were just cooked and perfect with guacamole and mango coulis creating the perfect fusion of flavours in your mouth.
The tuna and meat here come fresh from a local fisherman and butchers so you will not go wrong with ribeye steak Rubia Gallega, or veal strip loin tagliata with roquette salad, aged Parmiggiano Reggiano with sun-dried tomatoes.
On the menu also is delicious Dubrovnik style Pašticada, famous Ston oysters, Adriatic bluefin tuna and a mille-feuille dessert. Reservations are recommended in peak season, especially for large groups.
