Wonderkid Halilović to Lead Croatia at U-17 FIFA World Cup

The Croatia U-17 football coach Ivan Gudelj has included 3-cap full Croatia international Alen Halilović in his squad for the FIFA U-17 World Cup which kicks off in the United Arab Emirates on 17 October.
Dinamo Zagreb’s Halilović, who has been the target of English side Tottenham Hotspur, is expected to be Croatia’s star at the tournament, which sees Croatia grouped with Morocco, Panama and Uzbekhistan.
“The World Cup is the crown for this generation who have in 36 matches only lost 2 friendly matches. We wont create any euphoria, we have done very well to qualify but I am sure we can do a lot at the tournament,” said Gudelj.
