World Cup Preparations Start at Aviva Clinic for Croatian Basketball Team

The Croatian basketball team are set to take on the best in the world at the FIBA World Cup in Spain later this month (30 August – 14 September), and they have started preparations this week by undergoing medicals at the Aviva Clinic in Zagreb…
Aware of how important health is in achieving top results and also in developing and advancing their careers, players including Ante Tomić, Dario Šarić, Damjan Rudež, Bojan Bogdanović, Roko Leni Ukić, Damir Markota, Mario Hezonja, Lukša Andrić, Darko Planinić, Oliver Lafayette, Krunoslav Simon and Luka Žorić, under went targeted examinations in the pleasant surroundings of the Aviva Clinic under the supervision of the qualified medical team who gave them the “green light” before preparations on the court begin under the watchful eye of coach Jasmin Repeša. Croatia is in Group B with Argentina, Greece, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Senegal.
Aviva Clinic, who besides working with the Croatian national basketball team, also work with a number of sports clubs and organisations, including the Croatian Olympic Committee, in helping athletes prevent injuries and keeping them in tip-top shape.
