World’s 20 best natural wonders list features one in Croatia

The beauty of waterfalls, canyons, and snow-capped peaks is truly remarkable. Recently, a study utilised data from TripAdvisor reviews, Google searches, and social media posts and views to create a ranking of the most stunning natural wonders in the world.
On the list is one in Croatia with the Plitvice Lakes National Park coming in at no.18 on the list.
With its exceptional natural beauty, Plitvice Lakes has always attracted nature lovers and on 8 April, 1949, it was proclaimed the first national park in Croatia.
The national park is world-famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Sixteen lakes can be seen from the surface and are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The lakes are all interconnected and follow the water flow.
At no.1 on the list was Arches National Park in Utah, USA. The park is famous for it’s natural sandstone arches.
Iguazu Falls, Argentina/Brazil was next, followed by Victoria Falls and The Grand Canyon, Metro writes.
