Young Croat Belgian 1st Division Top Goal Scorer

Little-known 24-year-old Croatian striker Ivan Santini has scored again for his club KV Kortrijk in the Belgian first division, and after five rounds is the league’s top goal scorer. Santini, who was capped 64 times for NK Zadar in the Croatian league, followed up his hat-trick from earlier in the season with the only goal for his side in their 1:2 defeat at home yesterday. Santini, who also had a stint at German side SC Freiburg has scored five times this season as it top goal scorer in the Jupiler League.
