Zagreb, August 13, 2021 – Following the measures and decisions of the National Civil Protection Headquarters, including measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19 adopted by the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Zagreb Airport has extended the waiting area for passport control on the first floor of the passenger terminal to ensure sufficient distance between passengers in all areas of the passenger terminal when traffic returns to full range.
With this extension of the passport control waiting area on arrivals, Zagreb Airport effectively adapted to the new circumstances of the additional sanitary procedure (control of PCR tests, comparison of passenger documentation with the COVID database), in the months in which is recorded the gradual recovery of traffic, thus preventing possible delays in the flow of incoming passengers to Zagreb.
“Zagreb Airport continues developments despite the reduction in traffic caused by the pandemic. The gradual recovery of traffic recorded in the summer months of this year is an additional incentive to continue in this direction with aim to increase the quality of our services.“- said Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, Zagreb Airport CEO.
