Zagreb Airport wins best in Europe service quality award

ZAGREB, 9 March 2020 – Zagreb’s Franjo Tuđman Airport is the recipient of the Airports Council International (ACI) World award for the second year in a row.
ACI World today revealed the winners of its world-renowned Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards with Franjo Tuđman Airport named as the Best Airport by Size and Region in Europe welcoming between 2 and 5 million passengers during 2019.
“Our passengers and users have once again recognized our effort and awarded Franjo Tuđman Airport in a regular survey about the quality of service ACI/ASQ (Airports Council International/Airport Service Quality). This exceptional accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and commitment to passenger service excellence that everybody at Franjo Tuđman Airport puts as the top priority in their everyday work,” the airport said in a statement.
Zagreb was a joint winner in the category of airports that handle between 2-5 million passengers annually. Zagreb shared the award with Menorca Airport in Spain, Skopje International Airport and Tallinn Airport.
The awards are based on 640,000 passenger survey results in 84 countries and over 300 airports and are part of ACI’s Airport Service Quality worldwide programme.
The awards recognize airports around the world that deliver the best customer experience in the opinion of their own passengers. This year, 140 awards have been won by 84 individual airports which is the largest ever number of recipients.
This is the second year in a row Zagreb Airport won this award.
