Zagreb Airport wins global award for quality of service

6 March 2019 – Zagreb’s Franjo Tuđman Airport has been named as one of the best airports in the world for passenger experience in its category.
The airport in the Croatian capital was a winner in the category of European Airports at the World Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards which were announced on Wednesday.
Zagreb was a joint winner in the category of airports which handle between 2-5 million passengers annually. Zagreb shared the award with London City Airport, Southampton International Airport and Tallinn Airport.
The awards are based on 640,000 passenger survey results in 84 countries and over 300 airports and is part of ACI’s Airport Service Quality worldwide programme.
The winning airports will be receive their awards at the ASQ Awards Ceremony which will be held in Bali, Indonesia in September.
“We are exceptionally proud of the fact that passengers have recognised and rewarded our services through the ACI / ASQ research, in a unique survey to measure passenger satisfaction with airport services for 2018. This is a continuation of our excellent results and an excellent introduction to marking the second anniversary of the opening of the new passenger terminal, where continue to record traffic growth”, said Zagreb Airport management board CEO Huseyin Bahadir Bedir.
