After being a guest in Pula and at Špancirfest in Varaždin, the popular Zagreb Burger Festival returns to the Croatian capital.
Zagreb Burger Festival will take place at Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana in the heart of Zagreb from 8-18 September.
New and creative concepts, craft sweets and chilled drinks await festival-goers at about fifteen little houses.
With meat delicacies from already popular Croatian chefs Mate Janković (Burger Institute), Ivan Pažanin (Chef’s Burger by Ivan Pažanin), Mario Mihelj (El Toro) and Nenad Komes (The Meat) and promising grill master and blogger Davor Šušković (BBQ Hot Yard), whose burgers have original names, visitors will also be able to try juicy burgers from Zadar (Picnic), Novi Sad (Toster) and last year’s winner from Dubrovnik (Guloso), which this time found inspiration in the characters of Marin Držić.
The 4Burgers concept with smash burgers is also premiering in Zagreb, and the island crew Plavica from Cres will also be there.
Debutantes Beg’s Plant Based will take care of refined palates that prefer herbal flavours, while Flying Pig from the island of Hvar flirts with herbal as well as meat flavours.
Also making their debut is Doomsday with various surprises in store. Robert Hromalić will be there with a new dessert – ice cream pie.
Entrance to the Zagreb Burger Festival is free, and delicious delicacies will be complemented by great music from DJs.
