Zagreb Gets New International British School Bright Horizons

Good news for parents in Zagreb’s expat community, or local Croatian parents who wish to give their children an English style education, with news that a new international British school is set to open its doors in the Croatian capital next month.
After years of research and successful Nursery and Preschool operations from 2006,the Horizons kindergarten proudly announces continuation into formal education. International British School Bright Horizons, which is situated at Sveti Duh 122, Zagreb, will start operating this September.
IBSZ Bright Horizons offers developmental curriculum in line with UK National Curriculum, enriched with the International Primary Curriculum. It is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject, for personal learning and for international mindedness. The IPC is now the curriculum choice of international and national schools in over 1,500 schools in 80 countries around the world.
“IBSZ Bright Horizons programme is internationally minded and thematic, with a cross-curricular teaching structure for children growing up in the 21st century- for Your children,” says Principal Milena Prodanic Tisma, adding that the school has a capacity of around 90 children.
