For the first time the Croatian capital Zagreb will organise a mass kissing event on the city’s main square to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Sunday 14 February…
The event is not just for couples and Zagreb invites everyone in love or looking for love to head to Ban Jelačić square at 8pm tomorrow night to ‘pucker up’. Mass Kissing event was started by Facebook group ‘World Events’. There will also be 20 marked points across the centre, such as Dubravkin put, Cmrok, Ribnjak, Strossmayer square…where couples can express their love in public tomorrow night.
Couples can ‘lock in’ their love with a symbolic locket on the gate in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art or in the Old Town. Tourist guides will also be getting into the romantic spirit tomorrow and have organised ‘love’ tours around the city, showing off some of the city’s most romantic spots and telling some historical romantic stories from Zagreb’s past.
