Zagreb Ready As World’s Best Skiers Set To Arrive For World Cup Event

The world’s best skiers will again descend on the Croatian capital when the 9th Audi FIS Ski World Cup – Vip Snow Queen Trophy takes place from 4-6 January on Zagreb’s Sljeme mountain.
Foreign media and spectators will gather for the women’s slalom which will be held on 4 January, followed on 6 January by the men’s slalom. Around 75 of the world’s top skiers, from around 25 nations, will compete in Zagreb.
Next week’s spectacular will also see Croatia’s greatest ever skier return to the slopes. Janica Kostelic, who is now retired, will compete in the “Zagreb Ski Legends” race along with other famous faces such as Alberto Tomba and Marc Girardelli.
