OIV Tower on Sljeme is one of the symbols of Zagreb. It is located at the very top of the Medvednica Nature Park and is also the highest tourist point in the capital city of Croatia.
As part of the tower, the new Sljeme 360° open-air observation deck has opened at an altitude of 1118 meters. It is an excellent choice for a day trip, as well as for enjoying nature and experiencing the city from a bird’s-eye view.
Moreover, you will surely capture some of the most beautiful photos here, which will serve as lasting memories. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a mesmerizing and unique 360° view of the stunning nature of Medvednica, forests, meadows, and ski resorts, mountain lodges, as well as panoramic views of Zagreb, the Croatian Zagorje region, and the Slovenian Alps.
What is particularly interesting to highlight is that you can rent the tower for organizing private and corporate events such as weddings, celebrations, promotions, team building activities, sports competitions, as well as various cultural events. All in all, it is an excellent location for an unforgettable experience.
As stated on the official website, in the coming months and years, along with the observation deck as the main attraction, numerous facilities are planned, some of which will represent a synergy of tourism, sports and recreation, adrenaline activities, museums, and more. From a climbing rock at the base of the tower, a zipline from the top of the tower, a rotating bar, to museums showcasing the greatest achievements of Croatian sports, a chocolate museum, and others.
The tower’s working hours are from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays and from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm on weekends, except in case of bad weather or unexpected malfunctions.
Ticket prices are divided into three categories: single entry, annual passes valid for an unlimited number of visits until December 31, 2023, and permanent passes valid for an unlimited number of visits.
