Croatia’s manager, Zlatko Dalić has been ranked among the Top 10 sexiest managers at this summer’s Euro 2024 in Germany in a recent study
TicketGum sought to find out which managers at Euro 2024 are the most attractive. To answer the question, they looked at different variables such as physical features, height, total games, winning percentage, and earnings.
The final score was calculated using the percentrank method with the appropriate weights assigned for each variable. (0.70 weight for Golden Ratio, 0.1 for Earning per year, 0.1 for Height, 0.05 for Winning percentage in national job, 0.05 for Total games).
Dalic, who recently opened a restaurant in Croatia, ranked as the eighth sexiest manager, with a 77.21% match to the golden ratio.
Dalic’s €1.5million estimated annual salary and 56% winning percentage leaves him with an overall attractiveness score of 6.5/10.
The sexiest Euros manager is Ukraine’s Sergiy Rebrov, with an overall attractiveness rating of 7.74/10. Despite being one of the shorter managers at 1.73m (5’6), Rebrov has the highest golden ratio percentage match (a mathematical measure of facial “perfection”) of all managers analysed (82.05%).
With studies highlighting that larger salaries add two points to men’s attractiveness rating, meaning they are statistically more attractive, Rebrov sits comfortably in the top spot with an estimated annual salary of €1.25 million. As well as this, the Ukraine manager has become a record holder for the number of strong-willed victories he has led with a winning percentage of 60%.
Romania manager Edward Iordanescu ranks second, with an overall attractiveness score of 7.68/10. As well as being one of just three managers standing at 6ft tall in top 10 (1.85m), Iordanescu has a 81.3% match to the golden ratio. Despite having the second lowest estimated annual salary (€240,000) of all managers analysed, the Romania manager has lost just 6 out of 22 games with a winning percentage of 41%.
The third sexiest Euros manager is Michal Probierz, with an overall attractiveness score of 7.24/10. Despite being the second-shortest manager in the top 5 at 5’7 (1.76m), Probierz has a 81.22% match to the golden, meaning his facial features are almost perfect. Additionally, his flawless record of six games with no losses — with a winning percentage of 67% — earns him a place on the podium.
Rounding off the top 10 is the Hungary manager Marco Rossi, with an overall attractiveness score of 5.30/10. Despite being the tallest manager in the top 10 at 6’1 (1.87 m), Rossi is let down by his lower annual salary compared to other managers in the Euros (€300,000) and the second-lowest percentage match to the golden ratio in the top 10 (73.61%).
